Set in a small fishing town, Whitstable Biennale commissions artists at a formative stage in their career to create new and experimental work in film and performance.

How to get there

By car
Whitstable is just off the M2. It is around an hour’s drive from London, through the Blackwall Tunnel.

By train
Trains from London Victoria take around 1 hour and 20 minutes. If you take a Eurostar train from mainland Europe, change at Ashford International. There are no direct trains from there to Whitstable, but the journey takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes (changing at Ramsgate, Margate or Canterbury).
