Jane is considered one of the leading South African contemporary artists but she doesn’t really give interviews about her works. Jane’s cv includes Venice Biennale, in the past she’s indicated the installations are opened to interpretations and the evolving socio-political context of South Africa provides influence. Currently she teaches at Michaevalis School Of Fine Art at University Of Cape Town. To find out more about her you have to do a lot of googling yourself. Don’t try to go on a course with her just to find out more about the works, apparently one of her students insists she doesn’t discuss them.
