Anna Haupt and Terese Alstin co designed the helmet together whilst they were students when The Swedish Road Administration wanted the law to also apply to adult bicyclists. The duo wanted to make nice helmets for cyclists so they would voluntarily started  protecting their heads on the roads. They have succeeded. Hovding helmets look like cool scarves/collars.

Each helmet has an airbag hiding inside. If you’re involved in an accident the airbag will be activated.

Now you don’t have an excuse for not wanting to take care of your head on the road. The helmet has been selected as a part of Designs Of The 2012 by the Design Museum.
