The Space to stream David Shrigley’s debut opera Pass The Spoon Live from Southbank Centre.

On Sunday 6th May David Shrigley’s debut opera Pass The Spoon will be streamed live to audiences all over the world from Southbank Centre through The Space, a new on-demand initiative by the Arts Council England in partnership with the BBC that offers audiences a new way to experience some of the most exciting arts events from across the UK.Audiences can watch Pass The Spoon live and free from 7:30pm on Sunday

The Space runs for six months, from May to October 2012 giving audiences unique access through their computer, tablet, mobile or smart TV. Described as ‘daft and instantly lovable’ by The Guardian this spectacular new performance by Edinburgh based theatre production company, Magnetic North, is created by Shrigley with award-winning composer David Fennessy and acclaimed director Nicholas Bone, and features live music played by the Red Note Ensemble.
